An often overlooked, but arguably the coolest event of the Blue Plum Festival is the animation festival hosted by the department of Geomatics & Technology at ETSU.   Submissions of animation shorts (under 10 minutes) come from around the world.

The 5th Annual Blue Plum Animation Festival was held in the old JC Penny building (next to Hands On Museum!) and the Hands-On! Museum during the festival.

Especially for the kids, the Hands-On! Museum hosted screenings of the children’s oriented submissions and allowed the children to vote for their favorite. 

 

Next year, plan to come sit down, get out of the heat and experience artistic expression from around the world!
